Kelas Sekejap English Speaking Programme

Information for Parents

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Your child has been invited to join a free 3-week English speaking programme by Kelas Sekejap. Kelas Sekejap is a web app that helps students speak English with more confidence.

What will my child do?

  • Practice speaking English in the app, about 10 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week (17 August – 6 September 2026).
  • Do a short speaking activity in the app at the start and at the end (about 5 minutes each). This is not an exam — it helps us see your child's improvement. Students who join need to do both.
  • Answer a short weekly check-in (5 questions), and a 15-minute chat at the end.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The full 3 weeks are free.

Rewards

Students who complete the programme (practice at least 15 of 21 days + both speaking activities + the final chat) receive a certificate and a small reward.

After the programme (optional)

If your child wants to continue using Kelas Sekejap, you can subscribe at RM15 per month for the first 3 months (50% off the normal RM30/month). This is completely optional — we mention it once at the end, no pressure.

Your child's data and privacy

  • We collect your child's name, form, and school, and the app records your child's voice during practice and during the two short speaking activities.
  • We use the recordings and app usage data to measure improvement and to improve the app.
  • All data is kept private and secure, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We do not share it with the school, and it does not affect school grades.
  • You can withdraw your child at any time — just email us.
